Some twenty years ago big bang and regulation changed the landscape of the investment industry beyond recognition. The rate of change continues unabated today with the growth of private equity and hedge funds, the migration to platforms and the impact of more regulatory intervention in the shape of MiFID and the Review of Retail Distribution.

In this world, individuals of utterly different disciplines who combine to make investment products available to the investing public may never meet in the business environment. There is a growing need for a forum where senior people from the different strands of the investment industry can get together and learn from experts in different fields and network with each other away from the attentions of the press under Chatham House rules.

Investment professionals will benefit from the opportunity to engage with fellow professionals of differing views in a relaxed environment away from the public eye.

The-Investment-Net-Work is chaired by Clive Waller, backed by the experience of Malcolm Small and Peter le Beau, with a management board, which exists to guide and support it. The board consists of very senior figures in the industry, whose contacts and influence help to ensure that leading experts are engaged to speak on issues of the greatest importance and concern to members.
